Cobh Golf Club partnered with Cobh Tidy Towns Team on Saturday, 24 September in a ‘clean-uo operation’ in Cobh Town. Both Captains, Tony Reddin and Marian Britton, and also President Seamie Barry showed serious ‘hands-on’ attitude during the operation.
Following the hard work, the whole Tidy Towns Team was invited for a light lunch into the Clubhouse Restaurant (The Food Club) for a chat and a bit of relaxation.
Cobh Harbour Chamber President Johanna Murphy attended and honoured the valuable contribution of Cobh Tidy Towns to the local community in a lovely speech.
Cobh Golf Club wants to express their member’s sincere appreciation for the commendable work of the Tidy Towns Committee.
