Competition Rules

Format: Scotch Foursomes Matchplay
Eligibility: Male competitors aged 60 or over on or before 1st January 2026
Tees: All matches to be played from the yellow tees
Matches must be played to a finish (no halved matches permitted)

Handicap Allowance
Stroke allowance is 50% of the difference between the combined Handicap Index of each team, rounded.

Example:
Team A: 12.3 + 14.8 = 27.1
Team B: 8.7 + 14.3 = 23.0
Difference = 4.1 50% = 2.05 Shots given = 2

All matches must be completed by the specified date. Unplayed matches will be scratched unless a walkover has been awarded. The Competition Committee’s decision in all disputes is final
