Cobh Golf Club is delighted with the acquisition of a new Fairway Mower, Model Baroness LM 551.
The machine was purchased from Gearney & O’Neill Commercial Mowers, Glanmire.
The acquisition was helped and supported by upfront payment of membership fees for the year 2023, good support for the Club Lotto, and grants from:
- The National Lottery Grant from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media – The Club is a beneficiary of the 2020 Sports Capital Program (the work of sanding and drainage of four fairways carried out in April 2023 was also supported under this program)
- Cork County Council – The Club is a beneficiary of the Capital Fund Scheme 2022.
